Cloning (Objective is to not make it look like a clone!) |
| 1. One or more source photos (your object) |
| 2. Open photo (check size of photo). |
| 3. Go to Menu | File | Quick Clone. A new page is created. This becomes the Destination file. The default name is "Clone of xxx". |
| 4. Another way to create a clone with tracing paper is go to Menu | File | Clone. Then Select All | Delete. Use Control "T" (PC) or Command "T" (Mac) to toggle the tracing paper on and off. |
| 5. You can also toggle the tracing paper on and off using the top icon on the side bar of the file window. (see image) |
| 6. You can use the source's color by clicking on the clone stamp in the color pallete or using the "U" key. |
| 7. Almost all materials can be used to clone as well as cloners in the brushes menu. |
| 8. You can clone from different sources into one destination file. You just have to make sure that the appropriate file is designated "The Clone Source" in the Menu | File | Clone Source. |
| 9. When using two sources, both should be the same size/resolution as the destination file. |
