    Here are some of the Internet sites that have proven most helpful in facilitating the work of the Office of Institutional Research at Skyline College.
    AACC Research - The research page of the American Association of Community Colleges. Presents some good information featuring statistics and national trends in community colleges.

ABAG Data Center - A complete source of population, demographic, and economic data for the Bay Area. Maintained by the Association of Bay Area Governments. Has good maps.

California Community College Cancellor's Office - The most comprehensive source of information about the California community colleges. The Policy Analysis and MIS Division provides a wealth of on-line statistical data.

California Department of Education--K-12 Demographic Data - The best source of demographic information about the K-12 system. Information is available at state, county, district, and school levels. Has a nice reports query feature.

California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC) - CPEC is a citizen board that provides the Legislature and Governor with policy analysis and recommendations about higher education. The CPEC Student Profiles are an excellent source for student transfer data.

CSU Analytic Studies Division - Provides a variety of statistical and planning data for the CSU system. Offers access to Academic Performance Reports for community college transfer students.

Internet Resources for Institutional Research - A very useful and extensive source of reports and hot links to institutional research Internet sites. Links organized by topic.

Research and Planning Group - The RP Group provides leadership in research, analysis, and planning issues for the California Community Colleges. The RP Group provides news, assistance, resources, and networking opportunities for researchers.

U.S. Census Bureau - An encyclopedic source of economic, demographic, and geographic data at the local, county, state, and national levels.
