RESEARCH QUESTION:

What are the effects of the September 11 attacks on the U.S. economy?

On September 11th, 2001, America was attacked by terrorists.  This attack affected our lives, security, and way of life.  But that was not the only thing.  It greatly diminished our economy.   I am looking into how the September 11th attacks affected our economy and how the US slowly recovered.

The co-author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898 here uses his extensive knowledge of the city to guide a new vision of New York after September 11. Wallace was in the public library preparing a follow-up book to Gotham when the city was attacked. After following the many different proposals for renewal, Wallace decided to lay them against lessons from history.
