Dr. Rajgopal, prior to joining the Center's research staff, worked on healthcare-related program evaluations. While conducting a widly recognized cost-benefit analysis of statewide nutritional programs, she developed and coordinated cross-functional teams of economists, nutritionists, and other program experts. She has assisted with, or consulted on similar evaluations in a variety of states.  Radhika holds degrees from Bombay University (B.S. & M.S.) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Ph.D.).

Article “Eating well for optimum health: the essential guide to food, diet, and nutrition.” was written with purpose to provide an estimated cost-benefit ratio for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), based on potential prevention of diet-related chronic diseases and conditions. It was published by scholarly journal and intended for scholar audience (Written by qualified researchers in the field). This article is not biased because it is presenting only results of the research.  It is based on statistical analysis.  The facts in the work fully support the conclusions. The work described in this article seems to be reasonable and inline with other works.  It provides specific references which were researched for comparisons to the original work.
