Creating Video Modules For Your Class
Using Camtasia
Course Information

Below is a list of Camtasia and Snagit features that I will include in this class
With Camtasia you will learn to:
- Setup and perform a screen capture.
- Capture narration.
- Capture PowerPoint presentations.
- Capture Picture in Picture (PIP).
- Add additional sound & narration.
- Export & import audio for additional editing.
- Editing in another sound software is not part of this course however an example will be given.
- Remove unwanted captured video.
- Edit the sound volume.
- Silence specific portions of the sound.
- Zoom in and zoom out.
- Combine multiple screen captures or videos into one project.
- Add callouts.
- Make callouts that are hyperlinks.
- Hyperlinks can go to a specific time or marker within your lesson or to a specific web page URL.
- Create Questions that can:
- Give feedback
- Jump to a specific spot within your presentation. So when a wrong answer is chosen the student can review the material again.
- Email the instructor with the student score.
- Create title pages.
- Add captions.
- Create a custom menu for you or your students.
- The menu can include any file that the users computer can open. Some examples are:
- Word files, PDF files, Flash files, HTML files, Media Player files, QuickTime files, PowerPoint files, etc...
- Produce a lesson for CD distribution.
- Produce a lesson for Internet learning.
- Produce your lesson in the following formats:
- AVI (Audio Video Interleave)
- MOV (QuickTime movie)
- WMV (Windows Media Player)
- SWF (Macromedia Flash)
- FLV (Macromedia Flash Video
- Pod Cast
- Audio only for MP3 Players
