Premiere Pro 1.5

Introduction:

  • I use Premiere pro on a regular basis from creating home videos to creating custom educational videos for my classes. I produce my videos on VHS or DVD. I have been using Premiere on and off since version 1. Keep in mind this is not Premier Pro 1.0 but Premiere 1 over 10 years ago. The course is intense with only 3 class meetings so attending each meeting is critical. There is no course book to purchase however there is an instructional CD-ROM that is required and it will need to be purchased on the first day of class. The CD-ROM with tax should be just under $25.00.

Course Goals:

  • I want this class to be fun and educational. It is designed to get you started with the basics and introduce you to some advanced features. This course will take you from the beginning which is digital video capture all the way to the end which could be various types of output. VHS, VCD, DVD or Web delivery.

What is not covered:

  • I do not show you how to shoot video or use lighting equipment and techniques. I do not show you how to use complimentary software packages such as photo imaging software (PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc..), audio editing software (Audition, Sound Forge, etc..), title and title animation software (After Effects, Title Factory, etc..) and DVD authoring software (Encore, Ulead Studio, WinDVD, etc..). I also will not discuss other digital movie authoring software packages such as Movie Maker, iMovie, etc..
