The Song of the Nairobi Trio (looping excerpt)
The Music is a much degraded sample from
The Ernie Kovacs Record Collection which
comprises music Ernie used on his pioneering
television programs in the late '50's and early
'60's. In addition to some of the first use of
"blue screen" special effects and other TV FX
Ernie essentially invented the music video by
pairing live action with recorded music, usually
to comic effect. Ernie himself appeared in the
"Nairobi Trio" and some claim that his beautiful
wife Edie Adams was at least sometimes the
gorilla-masked percussionist who used Ernie's
hat as a kettle drum.
