Accessibility

The goal of the redesign is to provide students, faculty, staff and visitors with a fully accessible, easy to navigate site. The site has a consistent page layout, recognizable graphics and easy to understand language. The navigation gives viewers multiple ways of finding information. Feature stories have been added that reflect the strengths and unique features of Cañada College.

The pages are fast-loading, fully accessible, fluid and compatible with multiple browsers. All images have alternate text that conveys the meaning of each image. Information conveyed with the page does not rely on color. Although the pages use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), the pages can still be understood and navigated without applying style specifications. Section 508, ADA, and W3C approved.
