Degree and Programs
The University Center at Cañada College in partnership with San Francisco State University supports two bachelor degrees (CAD, Nursing), one certificate program (SEI), the Center for Teacher Efficacy. In partnership Cal State University East Bay the center also suppers one bachelor degree (Health Science). While some of the programs maintain open enrollment, others are closed cohorts composed of a group of students who enroll, attend classes, and graduate together. Once a cohort has begun, the program is closed until the next cycle.
Eligibility and Academic Advising
Most classes are open to those who meet the prerequisites; however, a few classes are restricted to cohort members. Admissions requirements vary with each program. General academic advising for degree programs is available with the program coordinator for each university or a Cañada College counselor. The Counseling Center is located in building 9, room 120 and can be contacted at (650) 306-3452. For specific inquires about a program, please contact the appropriate university representative:
