Program
June 25 through August 5
Stanford HCOP identifies highly motivated
college sophomores and juniors from educationally
and economically disadvantaged backgrounds
who seek
a career in medicine. The program provides
an exposure to critical thinking and structured
scientific reasoning. You will have an
opportunity to experience medical research,
anatomy, cellular biology, academic strategies,
MCAT review, mock interviews, and academic
advising. Classes are scheduled every
weekday from 9 to 5. Most classes are
taught by Stanford medical students. Fun
and cultural weekend activities are also
