Exponential and Logarithm Function Graphs

Here you can experiment with the graphs of exponential functions and their inverse logarithm functions for bases b > 0. The large point (labelled "B") on the red exponential graph can be dragged left and right along the graph and you can see its corresponding point (labelled B'), with reverse coordinates, on the inverse logarithmic graph.

Sorry, the GeoGebra Applet could not be started. Please make sure that Java 1.4.2 (or later) is installed and active in your browser (Click here to install Java now)

Note that it's useful to plot the points: (-1, 1/b), (0, 1) and (1,b) on the exponential graph. The reversed coordinates (1/b, -1), (1, 0) and (b,1) will be the corresponding points on the inverse logarithmic graph.
