Coaching Staff
A wealth of knowledge and experience leads the Bulldog program.
	Larry Owens Head Coach Since 1990, Coach Owens has been a steady force roaming the sidelines for the College of San Mateo Bulldogs. One of the few junior college coaches with NFL experience, Coach Owens has recently led the Bulldogs to 5 consecutive bowl games and a major force in the powerful NorCal Conference.
	Bret Pollack Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator In his sixth season as offensive coordinator at CSM, Bret Pollack unveiled the "Spread 'Em and Shred 'Em" offensive which burst onto the junior college scene in the 2001 season. The offense which combines an option running game with a run and shoot passing attack, created havoc for defensive coordinators.
	Tim Tulloch Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs/Recruiting Each and every year, Coach Tulloch has produced Division I talented defensive backs. The College of San Mateo defensive backs led the state in interceptions in 2001 and 2003.
	Jesse Lindenstein Offensive Line An ex-offensive lineman at CSM himself, Coach Lindenstein has been the force behind creating dominating offensive lines year in and year out. In 2003, CSM led the Nation in rushing yards with 283 per game. In 2005, CSM led Northern California in rushing with 332/yards per game. His 2005 unit all received Division I scholarships.
	Dave Heck Defensive Line Handling both the defensive line and special teams coordinator positions, Coach Heck has coached the likes of Washington Redskins’ defensive lineman Ryan Boschetti and All American and University of Nebraska kick returner Marque McCray.
	Collin Sullivan Quarterbacks An ex-CSM quarterback himself, Coach Sullivan has helped the CSM quarterbacks be one of the most productive groups in the history of the school. Four of the past five years, the CSM quarterback has been the MVP of the Conference.
	Don Willis Linebackers One of the most energetic and humorous coaches you will ever meet, Coach Willis helps Coach Owens in developing the CSM Bulldog linebacker corps.
	Ashley Parham Defensive Line An All State offensive line selection in 2001 for the Bulldog, Coach Parham joined the Bulldog staff in 2005, Coach Parham has helped Coach Heck in building a fundamentally sound and aggressive defensive line.
	Greg Patner Wide Receivers Coach Patner joins the Bulldog staff in 2006 after winning a CCS championship in 2003 at Menlo Atherton High School, where he helped develop TC Ostrander, who now is the starting QB at Stanford University.
	Ryan Gray Game Day Consultant Coach Gray is in his seventh season as a coach at the College of San Mateo. A graduate of Aragon High School where he lead his team to the Division III State title in 1994. Gray was an All-Conference receiver and team captain for the College of San Mateo in 1996.
