Coach Owens is in his 16th year as head football coach at the College of San Mateo. During the spring of 2001-2003, Coach Owens served as the defensive coordinator for the Amsterdam Admirals in NFL Europe. Prior to that he was a defensive assistant for the 1997 World Bowl Champion Scotland Claymores. Coach "O" served as a Bulldog assistant coach form 1984-1988 before a stint at Humboldt State University. Larry is a resident of San Mateo and a graduate of Sequoia High School, Canada College and California State University, Fullerton. He holds a master's degree form Saint Mary's College.
