CSM Internal is a "total" informational tool
CSM Internal was created to serve as a source of useful information for staff, faculty and administrators at
College of
San Mateo. But many readers look upon the Intranet site as a newspaper only when, in fact, it's much more. Along with the newspaper, CSM Internal includes a number of other informational sections.
CSM's Mission, Vision, Values and Diversity statements. The Faculty Handbook and CSM Technology Plan. Forms such as the Trustees' Fund Application. Days and times of when various committees meet and, in some cases, their meeting minutes and summaries (e.g., College Council). An archive of the accomplishments of CSM students, staff, faculty and administrators. A calendar of CSM events. Links to research sources, including one for the National Center for Education Statistics. And how to order new business cards. All of the preceding information and considerably more is accessible via the links on the left side of this page.
During the accreditation period, and particularly for those on campus now working on the accreditation self-study, CSM Internal may prove to be particularly helpful as a resource. In the Reference section, which is accessible through the umbrella Resources link at the left of this page, the following information is included:
- Accreditation Report (Interim)
- Accreditation Report (Midterm)
- Accreditation Self-Study Timeline (2007)
- Accreditation Standards
- The College's goals and action steps
- CSM's organizational chart
Our goal with CSM Internal is to have staff, faculty and administrators visit it often and, while on the site, have an easy time finding the information they're seeking. So, to make the site more relevant, we're always receptive to suggestions on additions, improvements, etc., to the site. Please contact Mike Habeeb at habeeb@smccd.net with you feedback.

Also in December 2005, three Bulldogs were named to the J.C. Grid-Wire Scholar/Athlete All-America team.
