Frances Schulze has been on the full-time faculty
at CSM since January 1990. She has taught mainly ESL Grammar/Writing
and Listening/Speaking courses. She has also worked in the ESL/English
Writing Center and served on various department, college, and district
committees. In
the past few years, she has been actively involved with the CSM Outreach
Project. She has visited local high schools and the San Mateo
Adult School, informing ESL students about the ESL classes and the
student services at CSM.
A graduate of SF State University, Frances
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mandarin and a Master’s Degree in
TESOL/Linguistics. She taught Adult Ed- ESL in SF for 10 years and has
been teaching in the San Mateo Community College District (Skyline College
and CSM) for over 26 years. Frances enjoys traveling, running, and playing
Scrabble, but most of all; she loves working with ESL students. She welcomes
students into her friendly, fun, and active-learning classes. |
