Lexis Nexis Academic Universe

The Electronic Data Gathering Analysis and Retrieval system of the SEC, providing access to various types of company filings. Also available through LexisNexis (see above).

BigCharts

An investment charting and research site, with current and historical stock quotes.

Hoover’s Online

A good source of quarterly financial data and other information about specific companies. Subscription-only, but available through LexisNexis [see above].

Stat-USA

Provides information from the federal government on U.S. business, trade and economic conditions.
