Math 811--Arithmetic Review
Content--Basic arithmetic involving whole numbers, signed numbers, fractions, decimals,
and percents; estimation, number sense, calculator skills, area and volume, and applications.
Credit/No credit grading.

Math 110--Elementary Algebra
Content--Elementary algebra through quadratic equations.
Prerequisite--Appropriate skill level as measured by a satisfactory score on Math Placement
Test One in combination with previous math coursework

Math 811 with a grade of C or higher
Math 111--Elementary Algebra I
Content--First half of Elementary Algebra (Math 110).
Prerequisite--Appropriate skill level as measured by a satisfactory score on Math Placement
Test One in combination with previous math coursework OR three units in Business 810 or
Math 811 with a grade of C or higher.
Math 112--Elementary Algebra II
Content--Second half of Elementary Algebra (Math 110).
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 111 or equivalent.
Math 115--Geometry
Content--Geometric properties of plane and solid figures, using the real number system
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 110 or Math 112 equivalent.
Math 120--Intermediate Algebra
Content--Review/extension of elementary algebra through systems of equations, exponential and logarithmic functions.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 110 or Math 112 or equivalent.
Math 122--Intermediate Algebra I
Content--A review of elementary algebra with certain topics studied in greater depth.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 110 or Math 112 or equivalent.
Math 123--Intermediate Algebra II
Content--A continuation of Math 122. Review/extension of elementary algebra through systems of equations, exponential and logarithmic functions..

Math 125--Elementary Finite Mathematics
Content--Systems of linear equations and inequalities, matrices, set theory, logic, elementary probability, linear programming, and mathematics of finance.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 120 or Math 123 or equivalent.
Math 130--Analytic Trigonometry
Content--Trignometric functions of real numbers and angles, identities and solutions of trignometric equations..
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 120 or Math 123 or equivalent.
Math 145--Liberal Arts Mathematics
Content--Examination of important concepts of mathematics and mathematics as a tool for decision making. Topics and applications may include aspects of history of mathematics, problem solving, counting methods, elementary number theory, sets, Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry,
Platonic solids, topology, probability, problem solving, and logic.

Math 200--Elementary Probability and Statistics
Content--Measures of central tendency and dispersion. Sampling distributions, statisical inference, regression and correleation.

Math 222--Precalculus
Content--Advanced algebra topics including the theory equations, complex numbers, vectors and matrices, and a review of trigonometry.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 130 or equivalent.
Math 231--Symbolic Logic
Content--Propositions, arguments and validity, truth functional equivalence, axiomatic systems, quantifiers, direct and indirect proof, proof strategy.

Math 241--Applied Calculus I
Content--Selected topics from analytic geometry, plus basic techniques of both differential and integral calculus.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 120 or Math 123 or equivalent.
Math 242--Applied Calculus II
Content--Advanced work in diffentiation and integration, calculus of functions of several variables,
and selected topics from differential equations.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 130 and Math 241 or equivalent.
Math 251--Calculus with Analytic Geometry I
Content--Study of limits, continuity, the derivative, applications of the derivative, and the definite integral.
Prerequisite--C or better in Math 222 or equivalent.
Math 252--Calculus with Analytic Geometry II
Content--Study of the antiderivative, techniques of integration, applications of the definite integral, exponential and logarithmic functions, parametric equations, polar coordinates, conic sections,
and vectors.

Math 253--Calculus with Analytic Geometry III
Content--Study of Taylor polynomials and Taylor's formula, infinite series, the calculus of functions of several independent variables, partial derivatives, multiple integration, and vector calculus to include Green's Theorem, Stokes' theorem, and the divergence theorem.

Math 268--Discrete Mathematics
Content--Covers topics in discrete mathematics with particular emphasis on applications to
computer science. Includes logic, sets, functions and relations, mathematical induction, recursion, Boolean algebra, elementary number theory, probability, algebraic structures, statistics, graphs, counting, and combinatorics.
