Sign up

SMCCD Dial-in Internet and eMail Service allows your to receive Internet access from your home computer. (local calling area)

Please go to the District Sign Up page and follow steps that will guide you through the process. 

Configure Your Computer's Network Preferences

From the Dial-in page, choose Set Up.  You will be asked to login with your email username and passoword. 

 

Configure Your Email Client (program)

Reconfigure your email client with your District email account information

Select your email client: (clicking on a link will initiate the download of a .doc file)

PC -  Config for Outlook Express  

Macintosh - Config for Entourage or Outlook Express

Setting Your Network Preferences

• Search Domain: smccd.edu
• Modem Number: 522-9930
• Login: yourname
• Password: (your District email password)

Configure Your Email Program

• Outgoing / Sending Server: mail.smccd.net
• Incoming / Receiving Server: mail.smccd.net
  
• Login name & Password: (use District email name & password)
