Thank you for agreeing to present a workshop at Expanding Your Horizons. This conference is intended to encourage young girls (sixth through twelfth graders) to pursue careers in math and science. The conference is made up of about 50 different workshops promoting various science, math or computer fields. The success of this conference depends on people like you who give of their time and talent and participate. You will be presenting three hands-on workshops for 20-30 girls. The format for the conference will be similar to last year, with 3 hands-on workshops held throughout the day. Please fill out Form I (the blue form) and return it to Tiffany Reardon. The short turn-around time is necessary to give us an accurate count of presenters. The most important information we need at this time includes the names of all presenters, with job titles, a title for your workshop and a short description of your workshop. Please make sure that a hands-on activity makes up the bulk of the time period. Use Form II (the pink form) to request supplies and equipment for your sessions. If you are unable to participate in the conference this year, but know someone who would like to present a workshop, please pass this information along. Thank you again.
