Problems and Puzzles Contest. Participants pick up the contest forms on the morning of the conference. Winners are announced at the General Assembly. Contest Prizes include lunch with a scientist followed by a lab/facilities tour. Past prizes have included The Bay Model, The Exploratorium, NASA-Ames, Marine Science Institute, Benjamin/Cummings, San Francisco Zoo, U.C. Berkeley, the Marine Mammal Center, and the California Academy of Sciences. A drawing is held from all entries to receive passes to local science institutions. This may include:
