• To gain an understanding of the Internet, including its history, strengths, and limitations.

• To understand the parts of a URL.

• To understand how libraries and the Internet complement each other.

• To learn the best way to find information on the Internet.

• To learn some of the common features of search engines.

Reading Assignments:
