Stacey received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Windham College, Putney Vt and a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of New Hampshire. After a few years of engineering (Mitre Corp, Bedford Computer, Northern Telecom) combined with teaching on the side, Stacey decided to teach full time. It was more fun, and she could now answer her phone without having to worry that a customer system was down. Nine years of teaching programming languages and software engineering paradigm at Daniel Webster College, Nashua, NH, was then followed by a move to California. Attention was then turned to the younger set as Stacey spent 5 years developing a K-8 computer curriculum for Baymonte Christian School in Scotts Valley before finally settling in the Bay area and discovering CSM in 2000.Stacey's Masters thesis was a Pascal interpreting environment, coded on the Terak, one of the early microcomputing systems. Her interests lie with project management, test techniques and programming languages.
