This dialup Internet access service is available to all SMCCD Employees.
This service is an extension of the existing Internet connectivity that is
available in your office. While every effort has been made to ensure
reliable trouble free service, the District cannot guarantee any level of
service. In addition, telephone support (only) for this service is provided
by the ITS Help
Center. Therefore,
support for this service is limited to the resources available through the Help Center. The Help Center
hours are generally Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 PM. There is no support
available outside these hours. Please email the HelpCenter at helpcenter@smccd.net to report outages or busy signals.
Possible
Long Distance Charges
The dial-in number (650) 522 9930 is physically located in the District
Office at ITS. Depending on your location, phone service plan, and the time
of day you connect, you may incur toll charges. As a general rule, toll
charges begin when the call distance exceeds 12 miles. To determine whether
connecting from your location is a local or toll call, dial “0”
operator for specific details. The District assumes NO responsibility for any phone
charges incurred using this service.
Hold Harmless
All users of this service agree to hold the San Mateo County Community
College District harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages,
obligations or liabilities, directly or indirectly relating to the use of
this service. In no event shall the District have any liability for
indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages or any liability to
any third party, even if the District is so advised of the possibility of
such damages.
