Hi, my name is Marlena Skye.  I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the bay area. While working as a registered veterinary technician one of my coworkers told me about the respiratory therapy program at Skyline College.  I became interested and learned more about the field. I have a strong desire to work with the elderly and make their lives more comfortable.  Also, when an emergency arises, I want to be able to assist rather than looking on not knowing what to do.
