Born and raised in the Philippines, I moved here when I was eleven. I went to San Francisco State University after graduating from Westmoor High School in 1999. I majored in Kinesiology Exercise Science thinking that I would pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
After graduating in Kinesiology I worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for two years. I really enjoyed working with the patients but I knew that I did not want to pursue a career in physical therapy. I remember how much I enjoyed studying the cardiopulmonary aspects of human movement after taking few classes. I realized it was time to go after the interest I have developed. I tried applying for the RT program and fortunately I received the acceptance letter from Ray Hernandez, Director of RT program. I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to be a part of Class of 2009.
