M. Dela Cruz
I was born in the Philippines in 1978. After finishing college, I moved here in the United States to join my family who migrated a few years earlier. Armed with basic knowledge in Respiratory Care, I thought of going back to school to be able to pursue a career in the medical field. When I was younger, I never really dreamed of doing this kind of job. I have always wanted to run my own business so I could manage my time and do whatever I wanted.
When I was given a chance to experience working in a hospital setting, I was influenced to work the same way. But I never had regrets for it's been giving me a sense of fulfillment in regards to helping other people.
Currently I am working in a hospital as a medical record clerk. In the future, I still have plans of taking a few courses in air and travel (I enjoy traveling) and am still dreaming of having my own business. At the same time, I will continue to be of service to people who need me.
