B R. Pingte
I came from India in 1997. I have a Bachelor of
Homeopathic Medicine And Surgery degree from India, which is a form Alternative Medicine. Unfortunately, it is not recognized here as it is in Europe and other
Countries.
When I came here, I searched for a carrier path. I gathered information
about many programs including Ultrasonography, Physician Assistant and
Respiratory Therapy. I came to the conclusion that I should do Respiratory
Therapy first and then go for the Physician Assistant Program.
I found Respiratory Therapy to be a kind of specialization which focuses on
one system so one can achieve success. I feel it will provide me with a varied knowledge
base about all systems with a focus on the respiratory system.
This program will open the doors to hospitals in the United States for me and if I
want to make further progress I can.
I am happy to acquire admission to this program at Skyline College. I found
the environment very friendly and the Instructors very good. I am sure I
will become a good Respiratory Therapist and care for patients.
