S. Yevtushenko
I came here four years ago to San Francisco from Ukraine. I was born in a very old and beautiful city, the place called "Mother of Russian Cities," Kiev. I graduated from Kiev University and worked eighteen years as a music teacher. Then, as a person who likes history, I became a tour guide.
When I came to San Francisco, I couldn't speak or understand English because I had never studied it before. I felt very helpless. After a couple months of studying English, I came to the C.E.T.S. school and after eight months attained a CNA certificate. Now I'm working at Arcadia Health Care Agency.
My family is big. I have a husband and three children. My daughters are 19 and 9, and my son is 15. My younger daughter has a respiratory problem, and that was the main reason I decided to join the respiratory therapy program.
I wish to finish my studies, find a good job, and enjoy my family and my life.
