ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance may be taken at the beginning or end of Lecture. All students will attend class prepared for discussion and class interactions. Failure to come to class on time, or to attend the whole class will result in points deducted from your attendance. Students are responsible for material missed in any absence. Students will provide a valid excuse before missing an exam, the missing grade will be made up with an essay examination given at the whim of the instructor. A note from a physician or other proof is required for exam absences.
Students should be aware of the sections titled "Student Conduct" of the Skyline College Catalog. This class will be run in accordance with those policies. Cheating and plagiarism will result in a withdrawal or failure of the class, and the Dean of Students will be notified.
As a student, you are responsible for dropping your own classes. Do not expect your instructor to drop you, even if you never show up to class. Dropping a class is your responsibility.
