What are the problems with the way history books teach?
* No one is blamed for the events of history
* European views dominate
* Events and cosequences are not connected (repeating history)
* Heroifacation of individuals
* sanitizing of events and people (i.e. Japenesse internment)
* leaving out selected facts
* "Hall of Presidents" type of understanding history
* Censored facts
Added Notes:
* US does not take blame for anything
* People of other origins don't get any credit
* History is written by winners
* They dont't make any connection between past and future events
* Important facts are omitted.
