The class starts August 19th.
There is NO orientation meeting this semester.

- Describe the body structure and function.

- Understand the place of humans in the spectrum of life on earth.

Required: Human Biology: Concepts and Current Issues, 5th Ed., Michael Johnson, Benjamin Cummings Publishers, 2009
This will serve as your main content source. Each week you will do guided reading assignments. The class will also include online activities, discussions, quizzes, and assignments to turn in.
Optional: Human Biology Study Guide by Stewart

Examinations and Grades

Quizzes will be taken online during a specific time window and with a time limit. Quizzes will be multiple choice, true and false, matching and short answer questions. Make-up quizzes are at the discretion of the instructor.
Quizzes are not cumulative.
