How To Turn in Assignments, CIS 381, Networks and Data Communications, Fall 2006


1. Procedure

All assignments (Homework, Excercises, Pojects) are to be typed and turned in electronically.

Options to Turn in Asswignments

  1. Upload to http://www.javaclimber.com/gradebook/student/

  2. Email the assignment to

    Make sure CIS 381 is in the subject of the email

  3. Give the professor a Disk/CD/Thumb Drive

Upload is the prefered method of submission. Only if upload is not working can other methods be used.

2. Programming Assignments

  • Code must be formatted and use appropriate whitespace

  • Code must use javadoc comments

  • Your name must be included in the @author javadoc attribute

  • Code must be compatible with provied ant build script

3. Other Assignments Accepted File Formats

Please submit the assignment in an open document standard. HTML, RTF, OpenDocument, DocBook, and PDF are examples of open document standards. A Microsoft Word Document is not an open document standard. Microsoft Word will allow you to save your file as an RTF document.
