Training Program

The role of the anesthesia Technologist is to expedite, facilitate, and support the clinical work done by the professional anesthesia personnel. Anesthesia Technologists are trained to perform a wide range of skills. In addition, in many facilities they may be responsible for the operation of the blood cell saver, performance and evaluation of thromboelastrographs, and the operation of the rapid infusion system. The demand for trained anesthesia technologists is high. Graduates that wish to continue their training and education may continue into Surgical Technology, Respiratory Therapy or Biomedical Engineering training programs.
