Major Checklist for Paralegal
(pdf.)
|
Within California there are few, if any, schools that offer a bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies. Many four-year colleges and universities do offer certificate programs. Follow this link for a complete list of Paralegal Programs in the United States. Increasingly, employers prefer college graduates who, in additional to their bachelor's degree, have completed paralegal certificate or AA degree programs. Because paralegals, also known as legal assistants, perform many of the same tasks as lawyers, majors suitable for pre-law are also recommended for paralegals. Follow this link for information on Pre-law. |
