Skyline College provides associate level courses that help students meet the admission requirements for both community college and university nursing programs. The College of San Mateo and City College of San Francisco (CCSF) offer associate degree R.N. programs. CCSF also maintains a Licensed Vocational Nurse certificate program. The university websites provide a wealth of information on career opportunities, program descriptions, admission procedures, and prerequisite coursework. Where available, articulation agreements will show the courses at Skyline that match the courses required for admission. Note: Students seeking admission to a nursing program at a California State University should plan to complete all upper division transfer requirements as well as specific nursing program admission requirements prior to transfer.
