Ed Policy Committee: Goals for 2003-2004

1. Finalize Student Grievance and Appeal Policy Form

2. Standardize Matriculation Exemptions district wide following Title V guidelines

3. Review GPA level for dismissed students (currently 1.75). Modification may require changes to District Rules and Regulations

4. Finalize Credit by Exam text and procedures. Work with departments to identify courses offering Credit by Exam

5. Serve as liaison for departments interested in piloting Computerized Prerequisite Checking

6. Monitor progress on the identification of "substitution" courses as stated in the Academic Adjustments Policy for Disabled Students

7. Continue to receive updates from the Degree Audit Technical Subcommittee

8. Post all committee information on the Ed Policy Committee web site
