Education Policy Committee
Goals for 2006-2007

1. Complete the DSPS academic accommodations form
2. Interpret the student Campus Climate cheating/plagiarism results and take action as needed.
3. With Curriculum Committee, review graduation requirements while monitoring movement on this issue at the state level.
4. Adjust written procedures for student grievances and appeals to remedy the 1-2 shortcomings that became apparent at the first hearing.
5. Take part in renovation and computerization of early alert system for student grades

Ed Policy Committee
Accomplishments for 2005-2006

1. Matriculation Advisory Committee organized and two meeting completed
2. Academic accommodations for DSPS: worked on but not completed
3. Cheating and plagiarism: Campus Climate student survey completed but cheating /plagiarism results not yet analyzed
4. For first time Ed Policy members sat as members of an appeals committee for a student appeal of a disciplinary action.
