Skyline College offers exciting online courses that lead to an Associates Degree or Certificate in International Trade. The International Trade Program offers a variety of specializations in International Business, Import/Export, Global Business Practices, and Legal Aspects of International Business. New online courses are added to the program each semester.
Online courses are not self-directed study programs or correspondence courses but are conducted much like traditional courses. They are classroom-oriented, but are held in a virtual classroom using the Internet. Like the traditional classes with which you are familiar, there is interaction between students as well as between faculty and students. Class discussions are a part of each course. The difference is that you enter the virtual classroom at any time of the day or night to participate in the discussions. There are group activities and assignments in which students participate, and this participation can be planned around each student's personal schedule. Each course has an exact start and end date, and course assignments have due dates. The primary difference is that all requirements are met using the Internet. Students tell us they prefer the freedom of taking classes in an online format.
