Entering an Advanced search in the
PowerSearch databases
- From the "Basic Search" page, click on
"Advanced Search" on the navigation bar near the top of
the page
- In each search box, enter the search word(s) for each
concept related to your topic. Type an OR between synonymous or
related words for the same concept. Use an * (truncation
symbol) to search for multiple search terms with the same root.
(An AND is preset between concepts)
