Jan Fosberg is entering her seventh year as head coach at Skyline College.  Her teams have won four conference titles in the past six years and have also finished second in the State Championships four times.  Her teams have included a State singles champion (Stephanie Cheung, 2004) and numerous State semifinalists in both singles and doubles.  Fosberg has also coached volleyball (Skyline 1984-1988 and 1998-2000, Santa Clara University assistant coach 1991) at the college ranks and high school badminton, softball, basketball, and track and field.  She competed in four varsity sports (volleyball, basketball, cross country and softball) and played on the first club badminton team at Skyline. 

 

Fosberg received her B.S. in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Cal State Hayward University in 1984 and her M.S. in Kinesiology in 1991.
