Daniel Link is in his 8th season as Head Coach of the Trojans Soccer Team. Coach Link also served one season as an assistant coach in 2000. In 2004 Coach Link lead the Trojans to their first playoff appearence since 2001.He holds a FIFA-recognized United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National “B” license and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National Diploma.

As an athlete, Link was a member of the well-known San Francisco United Soccer Club (SFUSC), which in 1989 won the USA Cup and was among the National McGuire Cup Finalists. This team played internationally in eight countries (Brazil, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Northern Ireland, Norway, Sweden). He was captain on many of the SFUSC teams.

Coach Link also coached a women’s elite soccer team that competed in the semi-professional Western Premier Soccer League (WPSL). In 1998, Link was the head coach of the WPSL all-star team that traveled to Shanghai, China, for a winning exhibition match against the China all-stars.

Coach Link earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology from California State University Hayward, where he helped guide the CSU Pioneers to the NCAA Final Four in 1989. He has more than 20 seasons of coaching experience at the varsity high school level for both men’s and women’s teams. He has been involved in the Olympic Development Program for six years.
