Recruiting is one of my favorite facets of coaching. This year is no exception, SCVB is welcoming some talented recruits in the 2008 season to replace our eight players that either graduated or got recruited to 4-year universities. Our new freshmen will add much needed depth to the SCVB 2008 program.

Recruits are attracted to SCVB because we are offering a year-round program. We are one of a few junior colleges in California that will travel out-of-state. We offer our players 1-on-1 coaching with a 5-team coaching staff, and our program is committed to getting our players recruited into the 4-year institutions.

We are still looking for 2-3 defensive players with exceptional passing, digging, and service reception skills. We are also looking for a freshmen setter that is ready to make an immediate impact in our offensive this season.
