SKYLINE JUST MISS PLAYOFFS, AGAIN
November 13, 2007

The Trojan defense, lead by Selena Rodriguez, Elli Sanchez and Nancy Mejia held strong, denying De Anza a clean look at goal for much of the second half. However, in the 88th minute, the game was decided after a penalty was awarded to De Anza for a Skyline handball in the penalty area. Despite already stopping one penalty kick in the game, goalkeeper Mary Castro could not keep the second free kick from finding the back of the net.
