Click here for a full description of the workshops. 8:15 – 8:50 Breakfast, hosted by Skyline in the Student Center 9-10:15 Morning— (For everyone doing assessments) 10:30-12 Two Workshop Choices (1) Creating Assessment Plans (2) Getting Feedback on Draft Assessment Plans or Time to work in program/ departmental clusters (with assistance from SLOAC Rapid Response Teams, if requested) 12 – 1 LUNCH, hosted by Skyline in the Student Union 1-2:30 Four Workshop Choices: (1) Designing Surveys (2) Creating Rubrics (3) Using Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATS) (4) Enhancing Lecture Comprehension with Clicker Technology If you would like a workshop on writing SLOs or creating assessment plans, or if you would like some assistance from SLOAC Steering Committee members either individually or during departmental meetings, please contact Karen at wongk@smccd.edu to make arrangements. SLOAC Steering Committee, 2006-2007   You are more than welcome to attend the SLOAC Steering Committee meetings this Spring 2009, which take place on Mondays from 1:45-3:45 in Room 5131. The meetings will be on Feb. 23, March 23, and April 27.
