TRANSFER SERVICES
The
Transfer Opportunity Center offers many services designed to
help you learn all you can about transfer. We provide many workshops
including Understanding Transfer, How to Apply to the CSU/UC/Independent
Colleges, How to Write your Application Essay and Guaranteed
Transfer to UC. We also host visits by many university representatives,
campus tours and a yearly Transfer Day. Our full Calendar of
Events is available by clicking the Activities/Workshops
button or come by and pick up a copy at the Transfer Opportunity
Center.
Guaranteed
Transfer Admission Agreements:
We
also are fortunate to be able to offer Guaranteed Transfer Admission
programs with UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz and
UC Riverside, as well as, CSU East Bay, San Jose State, and
Notre Dame University. These agreements enable qualified students
to complete their freshman and sophomore years of college at
Skyline and be guaranteed admission to these campuses as juniors
one year prior to transfer! Also, students who complete our
Honors Transfer Program may qualify for TAP (Transfer Admissions
Priority) with UCLA, (see
Honors Transfer Program). Come to the Transfer Opportunity
Center and make an appointment for specialized transfer counseling
if you are interested in the requirements for these agreements.
TRANSFER RESOURCES
The
Transfer Opportunity Center is the hub of transfer information
at Skyline College. We have catalogs from the CSU, UC and independent
colleges; transfer information handouts, college videos and
computer databases such as EUREKA which contain comprehensive
information on colleges, majors and financial aid. Come to the
Transfer Opportunity Center to meet with university representatives
and to sign up for our many transfer activities. We also have
specially designed this Transfer Center Web page to provide
you with comprehensive information about transfer, scholarships,
and financial aid. We have also given you instant access to
multiple university information web pages including CSU

UC
Pathways,
Project
Assist
(general
education and major requirements database) and College
Source,
a resource of catalogs from over 10,000 colleges in the nation!!!
