Skyline Student and Community Center

The goal of the Women in Transition (WIT) program at Skyline College is to encourage students who are returning to school after a break in their education to expand their horizons and reach their intellectual, professional and personal goals. WIT offers a variety of services and classes to help ease students back into the academic environment. WIT students form close connections to one another so that they support and encourage each other's success!

Scholarship Opportunities

Learn What's Available  Scholarships are advertised on the bulletin board outside the Financial Aid Office (Building 2, Room 2234). If you meet the criteria for any of these scholarships, please see the Financial Aid officer for further information and/or an application. We suggest you check the Scholarship bulletin board on a weekly/monthly basis throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Scholarships from outside agencies are also posted on the Scholarship bulletin board. These agencies choose their winners and may have a different deadline from the College. If you have any questions about these scholarships, check with the Vice President's Office.

When Do I Apply?  The Skyline Scholarship Application is available in mid January. Applications are available in the Financial Aid. (Building 2, Room 2234). Download application as PDF.

How Do I Apply?  The Skyline Scholarship Application covers more than 50 scholarships. This application applies to awards which will be made for the following academic year . You need not be a full-time student to be considered for scholarships. However, because some scholarships are specifically designated either for full-time (12+units) or part-time (6-11.5 units) students, applicants are required to project their enrollment status for the next academic year. If there is a change in your actual enrollment status after an award has been made, you may find that you will forfeit some or all of the monies awarded.
