WebReady is a self-paced competency-based resource, which if you choose to use as a 1-unit course, will give you credit for what you already know about using the Web and offer you the opportunity to learn more.

There are two ways to use this site:

Successful Guy

WebReady - the 1-unit credit/no-credit  course Lessons 1- 7

In the first seven lessons, you will apply computer, browser, email program, text and graphic application skills to communicate and transfer information via the Web.

You can take the Fast Track demonstrating your existing skills by submitting the six web projects in record time, or. . . allow yourself a little more time to read relevant materials, click on helpful links, and interact with course pages before you complete the six web projects.

Plus - Information Literacy Resources (additional resources - not for credit)

Four Research modules have been added (because so many of you asked for this information) on the research process: selecting a focused topic, applying fair-use ethics, researching your topic using library resources and Internet resources. You will be guided to a wealth of information. All you need is an Internet-connected computer, an up-to-date browser and the "know how".

Registration Steps

Follow these steps to register for the 1-unit course. You can register at anytime during the semester before or after you complete the lessons.
